Famous since the 18th century for its sulphurous water with recognised beneficial properties, the elegant spa town of Enghien-les-Bains, located on the banks of a vast (43- hectare) lake, is the only spa resort in the Ile-de-France region. From the outside, the Casino boasts a Belle Epoque-style façade, a shell of glass, with a terrace extending toward the lake. During the day, its blend of styles is a source of intrigue. At night, magic brings it to life. Its fountains of light reflect on the water and change colours. The Lobby marks a contrast from the façade: long hanging lights in the shape of jellyfish, curved railings and round armchairs. The Klimt-style frescoes of gold and starry ceiling running through the Games Rooms are themselves worth the trip. Upstairs, the jingles and coloured pediments on the Slot Machines floor will transport you to Las Vegas. Dive into this fabulous space, located 14 km from the Champs-Élysées.
